The Dikamba are a wide leg and high-waisted classic tailored trouser. With a trouser zip fly and a metal hook and bar front closure, other details include a horn inspired internal jigger button, front slant pockets, and jet pockets at the back. Cotton is used for the pocketing and internal binding. The trousers are made from Faso Dan Fani striped pique handwoven 100% organic cotton. Faso Dan Fani is an artisanal narrow hand loom woven cotton cloth from Burkina Faso.

The name Dikamba {Dee-kam-bah} means friend in Kimbundo, an Angolan language.

Faso Dan Fani is a narrow loom-woven cotton cloth from Burkina Faso. It became a source of national pride after the West African country achieved independence in 1984, its first president, revolutionary leader Thomas Sankara, declaring: “To wear the Faso Dan Fani is an economic, cultural and political act of defiance to imperialism.” Asantii loves its understated striped design and spirit of unity, making the fabric a special addition to this collection.
