The Mekena high-waisted straight leg trousers have a relaxed fit and elasticated waistband. Shaped for comfort, the pyjama style bottoms feature a cuff and contrast piping detail at the hem and sides. They have an imitation fly construction on the front along with wide welt pockets. The trousers are made in printed lightweight viscose crepe. The Abstract Sunset Print is inspired by traditional West African textiles such as the Yoruba resist-dyed Adire.

The name Mekena {Meh-ken-ah} is the name given to females born on a Wednesday in Swahili, a language spoken in 14 African countries.
